HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM W2S

As we enter into 2010, I challenge you to let the message of Christ in all its richness find a home in you.  My desire is to continue to grow in Christ, have a deeper relationship with Him that I can know Him better this coming year and beyond.  May this New Year find you drawing closer to Him too.

The New Year may hand you your share of successes as well as your share of struggles.  However, if you take up the challenge of letting the message of Christ find a home in you, you will learn to smile through the storms and share your blessings with others.  We each have a cross to bear and overcoming each struggle brings forth a testimony that brings honour to God as continual praise springs forth from within.

It is my desire to continue to grow in Christ and have a deeper relationship with Him.  He promises to give me the desires of my heart if I walk in His will, so I know that this will come to pass--I look forward to my continued growth and pray that even as you read these words you'll have a desire to do the same.

Remember: God did not promise us that our journey would be smooth sailing -- no struggles or heartaches...   2nd Timothy 3:12 confirms this: "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."  St. Luke 21:16-18 further highlights this point but  brings with it a reassuring message in verse 18: "But there shall not a hair on your head perish."  But what He did promise is that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Heb 13:5) so as you go through your struggles remember that He is right there with you.  Hold on to His promise, feed on His Word, see the Lord--don't forget the motto "Ask Seek and Knock" (Matthew 7:7) For when you do, you will receive what you've asked for (in His will); you will find what you've been looking for and the door that was once closed will be opened unto you, according to Matthew 7:8.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
